SCANS ARE IN. PERFORMED SEVERAL TESTS: NOTHING APPARANT EXCEPT FOR SLIGHT STRUCTURAL DIFFERENCES IN THE PARIETAL LOBES ON BOTH SIDES. TISSUE SAMPLES ALSO DISPLAY UNUSUALLY ROBUST AXONS PRESENT IN EACH NEURON. LARGER THAN AVERAGE CORPUS CALLOSUM. PHILLIPS NOTED THAT PATIENT WAS FAMILIAR WITH EKG EQUIPMENT AND MRIs. PREVIOUS SCANS AND/OR ISSUES NOT NOTED IN MEDICAL FILE. FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, PATIENT HAS BEEN PERFECTLY HEALTHY OTHER THAN A BROKEN BONE AT THE AGE OF SIX.
PHILLIPS DOUBTS THE VERITABILITY OF THESE FILES DESPITE HAVING NO EVIDENCE OTHERWISE. I TRY NOT TO AGREE WITH HIS THEORIES, BUT EVEN I MUST ADMIT THAT AN ILLNESS SUCH AS THIS WOULD HAVE HAD SEVERAL SYMPTOMS BEFOREHAND. WITH HOW ATTENTIVE PATIENT'S MOTHER IS, I WOULD BE SURPRISED IF SHE HAD FAILED TO NOTICE ANY. IT MAKES ME WONDER WHERE PATIENT'S FATHER IS.
PATIENT HAS EXPRESSED DISCONTENT WITH MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS. EXPLAINED TO PATIENT AND MOTHER THAT PATIENT HAS MORE FREQUENT EPISODES, THE SYMPTOMS OF WHICH CANNOT BE PREDICTED, AND SO THIS IS A MEASURE OF PHYSICAL SAFETY. PATIENT WISHES TO GO WITH MOTHER TO RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION. IN LIGHT OF THIS REQUEST, PATIENT'S MOTHER HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO BRING MATERIALS AND SCRIPTURES FROM INSTITUTION. PATIENT'S LOW IMMUNE RESPONSE REQUIRES RESTRICTIONS ON INCOMING MATERIALS/VISITORS.
PATIENT'S MOTHER ALSO CONTINUALLY REQUESTS PERMISSION FOR YOUNGER SIBLINGS TO VISIT. AT THE AGES OF THREE AND FOUR, THEIR PRESENCE WOULD BRING DANGEROUS CONTAMINANTS AND DISRUPTIONS TO THE ENVIRONMENT, AND SO THESE REQUESTS HAVE NOT BEEN GRANTED.
