psychic powers are rare and come in a lot of forms. Some people can use telekinesis,
reading minds, and communicating with ghosts. Of course ghosts are a different
subject, but ghosts are the part of the spirit that has simply joined the forces
that surround the rest of our universe--so it makes sense that the ability to see
and communicate with ghosts is connected to psychic powers.

Although psychic powers are popular in media, a lot of these depictions are not accurate
to the psychic powers found in real life. Real psychic powers are a lot more subtle
and discreet! Some people don't even realize they have psychic powers: they might
simply believe they have a lot of deja vu.

While I, the author, do not experience these psychic powers, I am friends with
many psychics who tell me that they are REAL and not at all like those
phony guys that are out there parading as spiritual mediums and
taking all of your money. Trust me, you will know if you are possessed
or if you see someone possessed by a ghost.

Some of the most common kinds of psychic powers can be subtle---
knowing something that you have no way of finding out, such as clairvoyance
or 'mind-reading.' Sometimes, it's hyper-empathy that slips out, too accurate for
the average expression reading. Like I said, most of them may slip past notice, but
small communities have formed around the world that train these abilities to get
stronger. For people who don't know about their abilities, this might be distressing
or even seen as medical issues.
